I wish that this was a picture of Lauren with her new bed, but obviously it isn't!! I have finally had enough of the company that I ordered it through and I have cancelled it and asked for a full refund, as I think that the time I have had to wait is just awful ~ poor little Lauren still with no bed (ha ha!!!). Anyway ~ I have reordered with a different company ~ the bed is slightly different, but it is £20 cheaper and the matress is included (I had to order that seperately with the other company) ~ so all in all I have saved myself money and the best bit of all ~ IT SHOULD BE DELIVERED NEXT WEEK!!!!!! YIPPEEEEE!!!!! They will e mail me with the delivery date and time ~ so that is great. The other company were still unable to give me a delivery date ~ and I have had every excuse, from a manufacturing delay to the latest ~ it is out of stock!!!??????? Lauren is very pleased ~ there is a version of the bed with a princess turret and a slide on the side ~ but I decided against ordering that one ~ it is not practical in the room (because of the space the slide takes up), and also in a few years she will no longer like the idea of having a slide on her bed and I don't want to have to buy another one that soon!!!!!
On the diet front, this week it was a rather more steady 2 lbs off (I was a bit dissapointed after the 5 I lost last week!!) ~ but that is half a stone in 2 weeks ~ so I am still happy!! The total loss so far is now 35lbs (2 and a half stone!!!), so the trousers are well and truly falling down now (a great excuse for another shopping spree!!).
My 2 little tennis stars have been out playing tennis again this afternoon ~ Daniel did a bit of foot stamping when he missed the ball and there was the odd temper tantrum from both of them ~ so they are looking more like Wimbledon finalists each day (ha ha!!!).
I have had a relaxed day, the sun has been shining and it is just lovely ~ so we have been out in the sunshine enjoying ourselves most of the day!!
This evening I am planning on looking online for some new clothes (I love shopping on line ~ I love shopping in the shops ~ infact I just love shopping tee hee!!). I also have to tackle the rest of the ironing and have a general clean up ~ although I don't know why I bother ~ as soon as I tidy up ~ the children just mess it up again!!!!

The weight loss is steadying now ~ and it is getting harder (wish it ws that hard to put on LOL), but I am determined!!

Hi Dani ~ Yes, we have had a nice day here!! I am glad that the bed is on its way (hopefully) ~ and then Lauren won't be moaning anymore (well ~ she will just moan about something else ha ha!!!),
I know 2lb is 2lb ~ I am just being greedy wanting to lose it faster and losing 5lb was great last week ha!!!

35 pounds! WOW! I am impressed. I seem to have plateaued, and haven't lost any weight lately. It is frustrating.
No little girl should be without a bed that long, so I'm guessing Lauren is really excited about finally getting her bed (even without a slide)!
Save money on tennisballs and buy some new trousers girl! Besides, running after those balls is probably good for burning quite a few calories ;)
Enjoy your shopping! Sales have officially begun today and I'll probably go the Mexx kids store later. And as for the picking up, I can relate: vacuuming the kitchen 3 times a day was not my idea of holiday but I guess that just comes with being a mom!

Hi Tania, I agree the bed has taken just too long ~ if I had known there would be such a long delay, I would have kept the bunk beds, but I gave them to a friend when Dan got his bed!! The only difference between Dans and Laurens bed ~ is hers is white!! So I just cannot understand what the delay is!!! Keeping my fingers crossed it is here SOON!!!
I haven't bought anymore tennis balls yet ~ they are just making do with the one they have got (ha ha!!)
I love the sales too ~ but I always spend too much!!

Fingers crossed Lauren will be in her new bed by the end of next week. She sounds as though she has been ever so patient waiting for it. Its amazing the excuses you can get to explain a delay. This new company sounds as though they are on the ball, as they will let you know when it is going to be delivered.
I am so rpoud of your weight loss. 2lbs IS an excellent achievement and 1/2 a stone in 2 weeks is awesome. You are obviously being very focused and determined. Good on you, you have done a fantastic job and you deserve a shoppng spree. I am looking forward to hearing about what you buy. Online shopping is fun, actually, I have just finished placing a book order for Savanna and I can't wait for her new books to turn up. I've been compiling a list for a while now and thought that she could do with some new books that we can read together. I think I am a bookaholic!!
