Back to reality.....

I had such a wonderful day yesterday ~ my 38th Birthday will be one I will remember for a long time!! Unfortunately I was brought back to reality with a bump today ~ as it is back to the cleaning and washing and ironing ~ all the usual things that HAVE to be done. My ironing pile has got so high that I decided that I had better do some........I made a start on it last night ~ but needed some sleep ~ so the rest had to wait until today!!!

How times change!!!! Yesterday I was a birthday girl dancing with Daniel Craig...........today I am Mrs Mop!!!!!!..............................

A little update for you on the diet ~ this weeks weigh in makes me another 5 pounds lighter and with a total loss now of 33 pounds ~ I think all that dancing with James Bond definitly had something to do with it!!!! XX

Thanks Dani ~ a stone is 14 pounds, so I have now lost almost 2 and a half stone!!!
Still a long way to go yet and I am starting to think it will take me until christmas to get there (then I will eat lots of Christmas pudding and put it all back on ha ha!!! ~ just thought do you have chritmas pudding in America????).
Wow ~ half a stone in a week is fab!! Welldone on that!!! You go girl!!
From the photos I have seen of you on your blog ~ you look just lovely anyway!!
love and hugs to you ~Tab XXX
PS ~ Am having a domesticated evening, finishing the ironing yawn yawn!!! XX

Hi Amanda ~ I must admit I was suprised this week ~ I lost 9 pounds the first week I started and then 5 the second and then it has been about 3 a week after that ~ then I lost the 4 I needed for the 2 stone and this week 5!!
I have basically totally changed the way I eat ~ I have breakfast lunch and tea ~ no snacking on bad things like huge big bars of chocolate (tee hee!!), I have also totally cut out bread and don't eat too many carbs ~ have started eating more fruit, veg and salad(I know depressing ha ha!!), I drink loads and loads of water ~ power walk 3 ~ 4 times a week and I have just started to do a fitness DVD (you know sonia from Eastenders who has recently lost LOADS of weight ~ I do her DVD on the nights I don't go out walking ~ it is really good!!), apart from that I have just stopped all the sitting here in the evenings, when the kids are in bed ~ snacking on BAD things (and drinking wine!!)...
That is all I have done ~ and it seems to have worked !!
Hopefully I will keep losing ~ although I am waiting for that week when I stay exactly the same...
love and hugs to you ~ Tabitha XXX

Congrats on the weight loss!!!
My first week back on WW not so good, too many parties this weekend. Hopefully this week will be different.

I love the dance, you guys make a great dance team.

Oh Dani ~ it is just lovely ~ it is a pudding with sultanas, currants and raisins and it has cinammon and mixed spice in it, aswell as brandy or rum and nutmeg and you have it with brandy butter or cream over the top yum yum (thank goodness it is not christmas ~ my diet would not survive!!). Do you have mince pies at christmas? They are pastry with mince meat in (sweet) and you have them heated or cold with cream too!!! I will have to find a picture of them and let you see what they look like!!
I forget sometimes that you have different food over in the US and it gets very confusing sometimes ha ha!!!
love to you ~ Tab XXXXX

PS Dani ~ Jam cake sounds lovely ~ what is it?????
I have 6 months of dieting before christmas, so don't panic ~ I won't make one and eat it ha ha!!! XXXX

Hi Jules ~ I am sure you will do just great this week ~ it is hard when you have parties etc, but you will be fine!!!

So glad you liked the dance, my good blogging friend Dani arranged it for me ~ with Mr James Bond himself ha ha!!!
I love it too!!
Take care ~ love and hugs Tabitha XXX

if the Christmas pudding is cakey (american "pudding" is mousse'ish/custard'ish)i have had it. we used to serve it for the madrigal dinners when i was in high school chamber choir. is it the same thing as "figgy pudding" in the song "we wish you a merry CHristmas"???
yes, we do have mincemeat pie, but i've never had it. we usually have pumpkin and pecan pies. i will have to try the mincemeat sometime:)
love,
dani

oh, i didn't see your "ps". jam cake is a really moist spice cake with blackberry jam, pecans, and raisins. it has a heavy caramel icing (confectioner's sugar, butter, brown sugar, and vanilla).
we will have to share Christmas recipes through the holidays, maybe:P

You can lose quite a few calories by ironing, but of course it doesn't beat a dance with Mr. Bond.

Your weight loss is simply amazing, how you keep this up is beyond me (no bread! - i'd miss that almost as much as chocolate!).

you'll need another new pair of trousers soon (or that red dress!)

Tania
