New bed and a trophy!!

Lauren received her ballet trophy (at last!!) ~ she was very very pleased to get it!!!!

Hurray!! ~ New bed for my little lad (at last!!)

I treated him to a new quilt cover set ~ Bart Simpson ~ his favourite!!

The finished bed!! (please excuse my ironing basket ~ I have no idea how it ended up under the bed!!!!!!?????)

Once again I am sitting here typing this and I am half dead (ha ha!!!). I think that I will take a weekend off next week and stay in bed all day (yeah sure!! ~ like that will really happen !!!).

Lauren finally got her Ballet Trophy, which she is so proud of and has taken it with her everywhere (and I mean everywhere ~ bathroom and toilet included ha ha!!). The name plates that are being engraved still have not arrived ~ but should be here soon, so then it will have a little plaque under the trophy with Laurens name and the grade she attained in the exam etc. She has been waiting a while for it and asking me literally every day when it would arrive ~ so I am very pleased that she has it now!!!

Daniels bed is now safely installed in the newly painted bedroom, he loves it. I went and bought both of them a new quilt set each, Daniel wanted Bart Simpson and Lauren had High School Musical. She is most upset that her brother now has his new bed and hers hasn't arrived yet!! They are coming from the same supplier, only difference is that Laurens is white, where Daniels is pine ~ but that seems to have caused a delay and at the moment I still have no idea of a delivery date!! The novelty of sleeping on the Ready bed sort of wore off tonight, but I gave her the HSM set and that seemed to make it more appealing again!! (Please let the other bed come sooner rather than later!!!!). There is still quite a bit to do ~ I haven't ironed or hung the curtains yet and the room still needs sorting out. I managed to get the wardrobe that I no longer needed in there taken apart, and that is now in pieces in the garage (I think I will have to hire a skip and empty the garage out next ha ha!!). Unfortunately, everything that was in the wardrobe has now found a new home on the bedroom floor and will need sorting out tomorrow.....no peace for the wicked ~ tee hee!!

I decided today that the livingroom make over is going to have to wait ~ doing the bedroom has been harder than I thought ~ thank god for my friend Jane and her husband who have helped with clearing the room out and putting up the bed etc, there is just no way that I would have got it all done on my own!!

Hopefully by next weekend it will be sorted (I am sure I said that last weekend ha ha!!), and then the children can get in there and mess it all up again (that's what bedrooms are for !!).

For now I am going to go and look in the fridge and try and find something to nibble on ~ this bedroom sorting is great for the diet ~ I have been so busy I have hardly eaten a thing all day !! ~ I am sure there is a bar of chocolate lurking in there somewhere !!
