YUM YUM!!!! Carrots!!!

Look what Daniel and lauren got given at school!!
One pot, together with soil.....................

One green fingered little girl.........................

Plus ~ her equally green fingered brother...................................

End result ~ one little pot planted with carrot seeds!!!!!!!!

As part of their healthy eating plan at school ~ Daniel and Lauren were given a packet of carrot seeds each. When they came home from school today (and after they were fed up of playing tennis!), they asked if they could plant them................One pot of soil later and my little stars had successfully planted and then watered the seeds. All we can do now is sit back and wait and see if anything happens!! (Please pray that something does grow......or this mummy will be going to the market in a few weeks for some organic carrots to plant in that there pot ~ tee hee!!!!) XX

i bet they will grow, tabitha especially with two little green fingers stirring the pot, tee-hee:)
i have never grown a vegetable garden, as we have too many rabbits and squirrels on the lane!!!
when i was younger, however, i used to help my papaw garden. once, i remember taking some seeds away from the garden and just planting them here and there all over his back yard.
a few weeks later, he had squash growing everywhere. he was so proud and just let them grow where they might;)
that's a great project!!!
love,
dani
ps it looks like i've been stalking you on your feedjit, but i have two girls reading here and there, HA!!! hence all the henderson hits:b

HI Dani ~ I hope they do grow ~ they have been out looking at them ~ but nothing has happened yet ha ha!!
I hope nothing eats them or digs them out!!!
I never pay attention to the feedjit (I am useless ha ha!!), so I had no idea of any stalking (tee hee!!!). You are welcome to come over as many times as you like ~
Hope your day is going well
love and hugs to you XXXXXXXXXXX

Ohh -what fun!! I am sure they will grow. Carrots are pretty hardy! LOL!

I haven't had a chance to check your blog this week, what with my busy workweek, and with having no broadband. I am so very sorry to hear about your uncle. Big hugs to you and your family.

PS - the kids look gorgeous in their tennis outfits!!!!

It's always fun to watch something grow either be it Elise's belly or carrots in a pot!! They'll be so proud to have grown those carrots all by themselves.

When does their summer holiday start/end? Ours started 30/06 (one day early) and they go back on 01/09.

Love,
Tania
