After posting the snow globe story yesterday (there is still a glittery effect to the livingroom today!!), and the photo of me in stressed mode (apologies to anyone who I scared with that hideous image.....), I had a comment from Amanda over at Penny n Pounds who mentioned that I look like the children ~ especially Daniel!!
I have never really thought about this much before ~ I supose that Daniel looks more like me in a way (he has the dark hair), but lauren definitly has my personality and is just like me when I was younger (A Right Little Madam ~ quoting my Mother!!!). She is the more outgoing of the two ~ more likely to say what she thinks, where as Daniel is more placid and quiet (so there are parts from me in both of them there!!!).
I got the children to take some photos of each of them with me this morning ~ the main reason was because there are not many recent photos of me and them (together) in the memory boxes ~ so it was time for an update!! I thought that I would post them here and let you decide which one (if either) looks more like me!! Lauren was in full ballet gear ready for her lessons ~ so excuse the rather severe headband (and the fact that she couldn't just pull a natural face ~ but every other face you could think of ha ha!!!
I look forward to hearing what you think!!

From these pictures I would say that Lauren takes after you the most. Especially the fourth picture. She has a rounder face than Daniel which is probably the reason that I would pick her.

Hi Tania ~ I agree with you there, she does look more like me in that photo ~ We took lots of the three of us ~ but that was the nicest one!! We all got a fit of the gigges after the third photo and then we started to pull faces and be silly ha ha!!!

ok, here's my deduction...
first of all, they are GREAT pictures of you, tabitha. you are absolutely glowing.... beautiful!!!
secondly, daniel has you hair color, and i can most definitely see you in him.
but, and finally... lauren looks just like you minus her coloring!!!

Hello Dani ~ thank you for the nice comment ~ I actually put some make up on today, that may account for the glow!! ha ha!!
When Daniel was little he had blonde hair ~ almost white blonde, but as he has got older ~ he has got my hair colouring!! lauren definitly has her dads skin colour and hair colour (they both have his eyes!!)....These photos don't really do them justice (tee hee), they both look paler (maybe it's all the suncream I keep putting on them ha ha!!), and they were in one of those moods where they just wouldn't pull a 'normal' face ~ they often go silly when I get the camera out!! Getting a good photo is sometimes hard!!
Hope you are ok ~ and got the Fathers day shopping done ~ it is fathers day here in the Uk tomorrow too!!

Hello Amanda ~ I think that too ~ it is the hair colour that does it I think ~ when I was little I did look more like lauren ~ but I had dark curly hair (like ringlets ha ha!!) and of course I don't have the blue eyes!!
Thought it was about time that I posted my ugly mug on the blog ~ DON'T PANIC ~ it won't happen often ha ha!!!

What fun pictures of the three of you.
I think that Lauren looks more like you, but from the pictures I would say that she has your features, but her skin tone and eye colour is different to yours. But having said that, I can also see Daniel has most of your features and I think his colouring is more like yours.
The fact is that you are a beautfiul family who are obviously very close and share a special bond.
