A few months ago, Daniel had a letter telling him that he had been chosen to have a poem he had written (at school), published in a book. The book Is called 'Little Laureates - poems from Hampshire'. The book arrived this morning, and he is so proud of himself....as you can see from the photo.
His poem is called Hallowe'en Night, and this is how it goes...
Hallowe'en night gives you a fright,
Ghosts and ghouls are remembered,
Fun spreads, trick or treat is good,
Parties and dressing up, it's so exciting,
Hallowe'en gives a fright at night,
What are you? Vampire, devil or ghost?
Are you ready for a fright?
Give sweets, give happiness to everyone.

Well done to Daniel!, you must be bursting at the seams with proudness! (if thats such a word).
Will you be getting him a special treat as a reward? (above his poem being published in his book).

I am sure he will get a treat or two next week while we are away on holiday....he has his eye on a Nintendo Ds game, so maybe I will treat him to that.
