Canvas

We have had a really great day today, usually I don't like Sundays, but today has been good!!
Daniel had his usual Sunday Judo session, while Lauren and I did the food shopping (the bill would have been half what it was, if I didn't have LITTLE~MISS~SHOPAHOLIC with me!!).
We then met up with my friend Jane (who we ventured to Devon with on holiday!!), and we had lunch followed by a very long walk through the woods and area surrounding where we live ~ the weather was like a summers day and it was truly beautiful (typically I forgot my camera ~ so there are no pictures (sorry!!).
Instead of that, I have posted some photos of the canvas of the children that I ordered a while back and collected yesterday. It is the photo that was taken squint and not the canvas (or my ability to hang it ~ ha ha!!). I am sitting looking at it and it is perfectly straight in real life!!
The photo doesn't actually do it justice, it is done on canvas with a sepia effect, but my camera just won't pick that up (I need my new camera to come ~ quickly!!!).
I used to have a large picture of a lighthouse (my most favourite things!!), hanging above the fire place, but my children have replaced it (my most most most favourite things!!).
Well, have an ironing pile the size of a mountain to do ~ and two children to bath and get to bed.
My feet hurt (tee~hee), because we walked so far and I had new trainers on ~ silly!!!
Hope you have all had a good sunday too!!

love the portrait of the kids:) it's quite unusual the style in which it has been done.

I spent all day washing and cleaning:( Got a pile of ironing to do to , but that can wait till another day!

I'm thinking of setting up my own blog page, is it easy to do?

Anyway, im glad you had a great day, go and put those sore feet up after that ironing!!

Thanks Amanda,
It is really lovely in real life, a friend of mine had one done and I liked it so much ~ I got one too!!

It would be great if you set up your own blog, it was really easy ~ if I can do it ~ anyone can (I am useless at computer stuff ha ha).
The ironing is almost done and my feet are ok, now I have got those silly trainers off!!

Hi Dani,
The photo was taken during a studio session that we had done and then they put it on canvas (at a later date!!).
When is your daughter 16? A photo or canvas to celebrate that milestone in life would be wonderful.
I have got to wear the trainers in, am starting back with my power walking (me and Jane went all last year, but gave up when weather got too bad...). The children are back at school tomorrow, so most of the shopping was for their school packed lunches and snacks (a ton of fruit too ~ ).
Hope you've had a good weekend, will be checking over with you later to see what you've been up to!!

Hi Tabitha

A great Sunday makes for a perfect start to the week. I love having a relaxing Sunday, spending time doing some of the things I enjoy. It allows for a much needed recharge and it makes it so much easier to tackle the upcoming week.

The photo of your children is just gorgeous. Sounds like you have hung it in a perfect place where you can see it all of the time.

Warmest wishes
Elise

Hi Elise,
We had a great Sunday and hopefully a good week is ahead of us.
The canvas is hanging on the wall at the far end of my livingroom and when you walk in, it is the first thing that you see ~
I hope you and your family are well.
Warm wishes,
Tabitha X
