These photos were taken last year, by a friend of mine ~ who was visiting. She has only just recently e mailed them to me. I have lived in this village for 10 years, but it wasn't until I opened the e mail and looked at the photos that I realised what a lovely place it is ~ sometimes you just can't see what is right there under your nose!!!!

your village IS beautiful!!! i'd love to see it in person:D how old are the structures??? (you don't have to answer that tonight, lol... as i know you are on your way to bed.) and, tomorrow, tell me how the tea set turned out; i'm dying to know:D

ps furthermore... go back to banking at the branch. i hate to hear that you are depressed because of your banking on line. besides, if your bank is like ours, you at least get a lollipop with your balance, lol!!!
Hi Dani, it is a really lovely village ~I have no idea off the top of my head how old it is ~ but the Navy base at the top of the village was where the D Day Landings were planned (I think!!!). There is alot of history surrounding the village ~ I will root out my book and tell you more!!!
I gave up banking in the branch because of the time I spent waiting ~ I am not really in depression ~ just spent too much on hoiday (typical!!!)
Never mind ~ payday next week!!!
