Yesterday I had to take the children to have their feet measured - as it has been a while since they had new school shoes. Much as I hoped that they would have stayed the same size, they had both gone up half a size, so new shoes were the order of the day.
As i don't have anything else exciting to post today, I thought that I would post the shiny new shoes (Lauren wanted to wear hers to bed - she has always been like that since she was a toddler!!). The shoes are nice, but I love the bag that Laurens shoes came in and have been trying to convince her that she should let me have it (it hasn't worked so far!!).
I had to come home and have a glass of wine (for medicinal purposes of course), to help me recover from the price of the shoes.....they seem to get more expensive every time.

don't you hate it when they just go up a half a size!!! you get more bang for your buck if it's like a whole size growth spurt:D lol, wine for medicinal purposes... that works;b what was the flavor of the day???

I know, I wouldn't mind if they had shot up a whole size, but no, they do it half a size at a time (ha ha) - typical!!!
Glad you agree with the medicinal purposes - actually there was half a glass of Jacobs Creek white wine left in the fridge - so that had to do.
