Today is the day we have been waiting for ~ Laurens ballet and tap exam results......
I am pleased to report that she passed!!!!! She received a Gold pass in both exams, scoring 90 in tap and 91 in ballet. She received a gold medal for the tap and will have her gold trophy for ballet next saturday, as the trophies were not ready today (more photos next Saturday!!!).
She is absolutely over the moon and has been bouncing about the place since we got home.
I have told her to keep doing so well, then she can be a famous ballerina or tap dancer and her Mummy can retire early (ha ha!!!!)

Thanks for your comment ~ I think I have a bit of both worlds with Lauren. she is very girly with her ballet etc, but also likes a bit of rough and tumble too ~ she loves getting muddy!!!

Hi Dani,
I took Lauren to see the Moscow Ballet when they were over here earlier this year ~ it was Swan Lake and Laurens face when the curtain went up and the music started was magical ~
She is rehearsing for a show now that the Ballet School do in July ~ I am just a taxi service most weekends ha ha.

My girl was in ballet last year but she is so not a ballerina lmao. We've been looking for a tap school but they all start it at 6 years :(

Just wanted to say a big thank you for your support. It means so much. I think I just need to take some time and we will make the right decision. Hopefully I will go in the right direction after a few appointments that we have lined up for this week.

Lauren does ballet and tap ~ they start over here at 3 with some dance schools, but Lauren has been doing it for about a year now ~ she is totally into dance and I am very proud of her!!
I bet Kara would love tap classes, I think lauren just does it so she can make lots of noise on the kitchen floor lol!!

I have passed on your congratulations to Lauren ~ she is one proud girl.
She is rehearsing for a show that the Dance school do in July ~ so that is keeping her busy.
She has wanted a ballerina figurine for her bedroom window, so I will get her that as a congratulations, and we will probably go to the cinema next week as a treat.
