Just a quick post to let everyone know that the paint your own tea set kit has been started...Lauren made a start on it after school today ~ unfortunately my camera died after I took the first few photos ~ so there are none of the devastation and mess that was made after she opened the box!!
It is coming along nicely ~ the only bit that worries me is the 'baking' it in the oven bit ~ with my track record for baking (of any kind!!), I am seriously worried that it may be possible for me to even burn a tea set....and believe me that would not be funny!!!!!

This looks like a great project. I can't wait to see the colours, and pattern combinations that Lauren has chosen.
Sounds like the pressure is on when it comes to the baking part. You'll breathe a sigh of relief when the tea set comes out perfectly and I have complete faith in you that it will.

You know me sooooo well ~ the smoke alarm is the most used item in this house (hehe!!).
I just hope it isn't needed in this case!!

She is very excited about it, which is why I am so worried about the whole oven bit ~ I have this vision of me taking it out and it is all black and charred!!
Hopefully if I do exactly what the box says ~ a disaster can be avoided!!
