Sunny Day!!

Me putting my feet up!!! Sunny blue skies!!!

I wasn't working today ~ so after a bit of retail therapy this morning ~ I sat in the garden and put my feet up.....something that doesn't happen very often!!!! Please excuse the photo of my rather unattractive feet (ha ha!!). The sun was shining and it was lovely and peaceful (my 2 were at school!!) ~ so I sat reading my book and sipping cocktails.......no that is just fantasy ~ I sat reading my book and sipping a diet coke (hasn't got quite the same exotic ring to it!!!).
I got so relaxed that I completely lost track of time and had to rush to get to the school on time. Typically they were late coming out ~ so no harm done.
Tomorrow Lauren has a day off school as it is closed for the day and Daniel is on an adventure day, where he will be doing rock climbing, abseiling, canoeing and archery ~ he is very excited and has packed his rucksack (I think he's got enough there for a week!!!). Tomorrow night we are going to the Mayflower Theatre to see a production of High School Musical ~ more excitement ~ for Lauren this time. She has her HSM cheerleaders outfit ready ~ with pom poms! I feel sorry for who ever sits next to us!! Ha Ha!!

It was sunny and hot here too, amazing having so many nice days together!
You could have been sipping alcohol free cocktails in the sunshine.... but whats the point in that! Hope the kids all have a great time!
Oh, see your photo of the blue sky..? Well theres a plane track, i'm on that plane to the Carribean!

Love Amanda x

Hi Amanda
I Know ~ all these hot days together are unheard of in this country (ha ha), you watch ~ this is probaby 'Summer' and is all we are getting this year!!! I hope it lasts!!
It is funny that you mentioned about the plane trail ~ I sat watching it, wondering where it was going and wishing I was on it too!!!
Have a good evening,

Nice weather here in Belgium as well. Had to work today however, so I didn't get to enjoy the sunshine nor did I get to put my feet up!

Have fun at the musical!

Hi kellan
It is great to enjoy the sun, especially since we don't get that much of it here!!!
Lauren is so excited about tomorrow night, she has watched the movies about a hundred times, so she knows it word for word!!

Hi Tabitha

Sounds like an absolutely glorious day. Good on you for taking time out for yourself. It always feels like bliss whenever you have one of those rare opportunities to just relax and do whatever it is you enjoy doing.

Do you have anything planned for your girls' day tomorrow with Lauren?

Enjoy your night at the theatre and I can't wait to hear all about it.

Love and hugs
Elise.

Hi Dani
Looks like we are in for another sunny day, the sun is shining in the window already and it's only 8am.
The nail polish was laurens idea, we did it while we were messing about the other night and I forgot to take it off ~ I wouldn't normally wear blue, but it has grown on me (ha ha).
The cheerleading outfit is all ready, although Lauren is in a strop because I have told her she has to wear leggings under it and she is not happy (the performance doesn't start until 8pm and we won't be out much before 11pm ~ so she will freeze if she doesn't wear leggings!!!!).
Hope you have a nice day!!
Hugs

Hi Elise,
Yesterday was definitly a one off, I don't usually sit down all day, let alone put my feet up ~ it just happened that I had no children, so it was just me!!!
We are going round to a friends house today, Lauren is hopefully going in their paddling pool and then we are out tonight!!

Hey, Tabitha …
If you want to add anything to your blogger layout, all you have to do is:
Click on “dashboard at the top of your page.
Under “manage your blogs”, click on layout.
For music, go to the bottom of your layout page and click “add a page element”
Scroll down to “html/java script,” and click “add to blog”
Give your music a title… anything eg. Music, tunes, etc…
Then, in the content part, enter your code from your music site.
Click “save changes”.
It should be there.

I use:
http://www.playlist.com/

It is free; all you have to do is set up your account.
Search the music by song title or artist.
You can have a multitude of songs on your player/play list.
When you have done all that you click to generate your code.
I think it’s “other” for blogger.
Then copy and paste it into your layout (see above).

As far as slides go.
Set up an account.
http://s100.photobucket.com/
and
http://www.picturetrail.com/
are free.
Upload your pictures to an album
Click on create flicks.
Choose your flick; and customize it.
Then add your photos from the albums you’ve uploaded.
Click save and get code.
(picture trail is very good about walking you through the process)
Once you have your code, copy it, and actually paste it into your blog post.
(you can play around with it until you get it the way you want it.

Now, on my computer I get an error message (you may not) when I click to publish.
All I do is check the box in the error pop-up and click “publish post” again.
Your slideshow should be in your post.
Love and hugs,
dani
