Me and my sister ~ alot of years ago ~ she went through a phase but has grown out of it now lol!!!!!
Me in my Policing Days!!!!
Face Painted little darlings!!!!!
Daniel showing off!!!!
They were just so cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Little butterfly!!!!
ME ~ when I was just a girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have had great fun looking through my photo boxes ~ some of the photos have made me laugh ~ and there were a few including one of me and my sister when we were alot younger, that I didn't even know I had (and she will kill me for posting it ha ha ~ I asked her if I could put a photo of her on my blog ~ she said yes!!! she would have said no if she knew which one ~ tee hee!!).
The photos of the children were taken when Lauren was about 2 and daniel was 6 ~ they were so funny then ~ if I got out the camera they would pose (now I have to chase them around just to get a photo!!!).
I have included a photo of me when I was in the Police, I don't quite know what I was doing ~ but the lack of body armour, radio etc etc tells me I was probably still at Police Training College (and the smile on my face tells me I hadn't been on the mean streets of the UK yet lol!!!!!).
I am still trying to upload Daniels baby photos ~ so I will share them with you and then give you a break.........don't want to bore you to death!!!!
It has been a real trip down memory lane today ~ a nice one and I am happy for the memories that it has brought back to me.

Hi Tabitha
Photos are great for reliving the past. It's amazing how much you can recall when you look at an old photo.
Troy and I recently went through our old photos and laughed hysterically at hair cuts (who do we blame for all that puff in the 80s and hairspray? It's a wonder my lungs still function with the number of cans of hairspray that I must have breathed in). Then of course there are the photos of the clothes that you once wore and thought you were so cool. Now you look back and cringe.
Probably a good thing that my parents had the foresight to take photos of us in our younger years, as we would never in a million years believe them if they told us that we wore stone wash jeans with a cowboy shirt, a balloon skirt with a cinch belt, or yellow and green fluorescent socks together.
Tabitha, how long were you in the police for?
What posers Lauren and Daniel were, just adorable. Such a cute age to capture those precious memories.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane Tabitha.
Hope you are having a wonderful weekend.
Love
Elise
Isn't that the best when you find old photos.
That's why I love blogging to have this as a record for later.
Hi Dani,
I loved being in the Police, and the area I worked had moments of madness (the odd murder here and there!!), but it wasn't that bad ~ some of my colleagues worked areas that were just awful!!!
Mel has seen the photo and I won't repeat what she said on my blog (ha ha) ~ I am sure words like that are not allowed (tee hee ~ she is ok really ~ she has a sense of humour like mine!!!).
We have a public holiday today ~ so we are having a lazy day ~ no work ~ yippeeee!!!!
Take care
Hugs

Hi Elise,
I agree with you, it has been a real trip down memory lane.
I have wondered aswell what possessed me to wear what I did and have hairstyles like I did ~ but at the time it was the 'fashion'!!!!
I was in the police for 10 years all in all ~ I loved it, but having the children changed my outlook and I decided to leave and then started work in childcare!!! (from police officer to childminder in one easy move ~ ha ha!!!).
Dan and Lauren were real posers, it has worn off a bit now and they have to be bribed to pose these days!!!!
love and hugs

Hi Kristen
I agree, when I started blogging I wasn't sure what to expect, but I totally love it ~ and as you said, it is a great way to record everything for the future.
My children pull such funny faces when they look at photos of me when I was younger ~ think it is the clothes and hairstyles!!!!!
I just tell them that their children will do the same to them oneday!!!!

You are so bad. I love it. I hate to admit I went through a 'phase' similar to your sister too lol. I also have grown out of it now. Take care Jen B xx
