I'd wrap them in love and brighten your day with starlight ..

What to do on a wet and windy day???

In a bid to cheer myself up and to stop Lauren moaning ~ I finally gave in and let her make some little cakes to take to school tomorrow ~ as it was her teachers birthday over the weekend!!
Here she is all ready to go ~ with the cakes, the icing and the chocolate sprinkles!! ~ (I cheated and bought some vanilla ready to go icing hee hee!!!!)

Cakes iced and chocolate sprinkles sprinkled on top (she ate the ones that were left on the plate ~ together with a whole lot of icing!!!

All ready to take to school in the morning ~ sweet little chocolate sprinkle cakes!!

Not satisfied with doing the cakes, Lauren decided that she wanted to make some chocolate chip cookies ~ so she could have one with her milk before bed!!

She did a really good job, rolling the dough into balls and putting the chocolate chips on!

All ready to go in the oven!

10 minutes later and ta da ~ chocolate chip cookies ~ home made by Lauren..........

Still feeling a bit fed up with the weather ~ I decided that we would go into town ~ a bit of retail therapy always cheers me up (even in the rain).

The children have been asking to go and see this film........

it was fantastic and my bad mood disapeared straight away ~ I love Kung Fu Panda sooooo much ~ I haven't laughed so much in a long time ~ and the children loved it too!! Popcorn and a big cup of frozen slushy drink and they were in cinema heaven!!

When the film was over, I took the chidren for something to eat and did a bit of shopping ~ I bought myself some flowers ~ I love flowers and all my birthday ones died a while ago.........

I also bought myself two of my favourite candles ~ Yankee Candles vanilla lime ~ I love the smell so much and will be burning them a little later!!!
I have cheered up since this morning ~ god knows what was wrong with me ~ maybe the british weather has finally got to me (I hate wet cold and grey days!!)........anyway, tomorrow is another day and at least I didn't eat the whole contents of the fridge or drink that bottle of wine (tee hee), so I suppose all in all it could have been worse!! Hi Amanda ~ my two were in stitches all the way through and I must admit, I did enjoy it!! I want to see mamma mia when that is out next week ~ it looks good!!
Look forward to seeing the results of your retail therapy ~ it never fails to cheer me up ~ until the bank statement arrives ha ha ha!!

Lauren is becoming quite a little cook these days ~ she loves making cakes and cookies ~ and thankfully there was no need for any hunky firemen (boo hoo) ~ and I didn't burn myself ~ yippee ~ still have the burn from last time!!
love and hugs ~ Tabitha XXXX

PS ~ Yankee candles are the best ~ there is a shop in the shopping centre full of all things 'yankee candle' ~ I have to force myself NOT to go in it tee hee XXXX

Hi dani ~ you should go see it ~ it cheered me up no end!!
It is funny that we are both in funny moods today ~ me because of the wet cold and windy weather and you because of the heat!! We should swap!! ha ha!!
I am sure we will both be in a good mood tomorrow!!

Lauren went into hyperactive overdrive at the cinema ~ there was a huge (and I mean HUGE!!!) cardboard cut out of the cast of HSM ~ advertising HSM3 ~ which isn't out here until October!! ~
she stood infront of it ~ staring adoringly at Zac Effron ha ha!!
Looks like I had better keep a slot free to see that 350 million times in October!!
love to you ~ Tab XXXX

It sounds like you had a really good day after the morning was over with!
:]
Maybe next time I'm in a bad mood, I should get out a cookbook with my brothers, pop in a disney movie (since I still can't drive myself to the movies), and do some online shopping :D

Well, it's wet and windy over here as well but I doubt whether I'm gonna fit that much into my day!!

The kids and I are getting a hair cut this morning (our hair dresser comes to the house, how easy!) so I'd better clean the house a bit before she gets here.

You might be raising a little Nigella there! Jummy cookies Lauren!!

Kung Fu Panda is on our list to, but it doesn't air until the 8th, and we'll be at the seaside from Thursday till Sunday (without internet :( ) so maybe we'll go see it the weekend after next.

We will be going to the post office later today to make a special delivery that'll be coming your way...!

Love and hugs,
Tania

Hi Tabitha,

I was surprised when I took my kids to Kung Fu Panda too. I laughed out loud all the way through. Days like this always amaze me, they start out one way and at the end of the day, I realize we actually had a good day!
