Donna over at made in heaven invited me to take part in Brendas photo challenge ~ the theme this time was 'Patriotism ~ or what I love about my country'. Due to the fact that we have had nothing but rain all week (literally ~ it has hardly stopped!!), I haven't been able to get out and take the photos that I wanted to!!
Here are the photos that I did take ~ of what I like about where I live........
Our village church ~ very old and steeped in history ......
The little red phone box in our village ~ most of these have been replaced with the new glass ones ~ but we still have the old fashioned one in the village ~ I love it!!
The village shop and post office ~ such a pretty building!!
Lovely green countryside ~ it is like this every where you look ~ around where I live!!

Hi Tabitha
What a charming part of the world you live in. There certainly is something special about the red phone box and your countryside is so lush and green. You have the perfect settings for so many spectacular photographs.
I sure do hope the sun shines for the fair this weekend. It sounds like another hectic weekend for you.
Snail mail - what a beautiful thing it is. What a treat to receive a letterbox full of Beauty Full. Tania's bookmarks are absolutley gorgoeus and Mandy's creations are so sweet.
Yeah for the arrival of Lauren's bed. You are one clever girl putting that bed together. Lauren and Daniel are so lucky to have a mum who is so handy and can do anything. Lauren looks thrilled to be in her new bed and how very speical to have her new HSM linen. Here's wishing Lauren many sweet dreams and restful nights in her new bed.
I hope you are starting to see some sunshine and that your weekend is filled with rays of sunshine.
Lots of love and hugs
Elise
