Friends with Florence???

Lauren asked me this morning whether I was alive in the 'Olden days' and if so ~ did I know Florence Nightingale!!! (She has been learning about Florence Nightingale at school ~ apparently!)......

Of course I informed her that I was not THAT old and NO I had never met Florence Nightingale, to which she nodded, smiled sweetly and said "Oh, of course not ~ you weren't born until the war ~ were you????"

I didn't ask which War she meant exactly ~ I just smiled sweetly back at her (from behind gritted teeth!!).

I love my sweet, darling little 7 year old, I really do ~ BUT, I think that some additional history lessons may be needed (and I am off out tomorrow morning, to buy some Anti wrinkle cream ha ha !!) XXX

Oh children are such an infinite blessing, are they not.
My grandaughter 4 year old Lorelai never minces words. I asked her once if I was old, and she squeals, YES GRANDMA YOU ARE VERY VERY OOOLLD!!!

Too funny!
My niece once heard a song and said it was from when the world was Black and white!

Hahahahahah oh, Tabitha...that's too funny.
Children are so sweet, but they say the harshest things at times (without even realizing it, of course :P).
