It is photo challenge time again ~ I am so sorry that I am late (again!) ~ things a bit hectic here again ~ had to get up at 6am this morning to go and pick Dan up after his trip to France ~ then the usual Saturday rushing about ~ so I have literally just sat down and remembered I had to post my pictures (I am totally useless aren't I ha ha !!!???)
Anyway, back to the photo challenge ~ this time around the hostess is Brenda from What's up down south ~ and the theme this time is The Eyes Have It!
So, here are my pictures ~ not the best pictures ever ~ as taking pictures of eyes is actually alot harder than I thought!
Firstly ~ here are some green ogre eyes ~ from one of Laurens soft toys ~ yes ~ it is Shrek ha ha !!
Here are some innocent little eyes ~ my sweet little Lauren ~ doing her best to keep her eyes open ~
Some very tired eyes ~ I don't like having to get up at 6am on a Saturday ~ yes those are bags under my eyes ~ very attractive ha ha !!
Another sweet little pair of tired eyes ~ my gorgeous little chap ~ back safely after his fun trip to France.
So, there you go ~ our eyes!!
Just a little update for you ~ as I said ~ Dan is back safely after his trip ~ he had a totally fantastic time, the trip on the ferry was ok and went smoothly ~ he has not stopped talking about it since he came back ~ bless him he is also exhausted ~ he went back to bed this morning for a nap as he didn't get much sleep on the ferry!!
He loved the french food, loved visiting the D Day sites including the Pegasus Bridge and he just loved every minute of it. He wants us to go over there next, so I may just have to look into a day trip over there for the 3 of us ~ as we live so close to a ferry port ~ it seems silly not to give it a try!
My 2 little stars are locked away secretly in the bedroom at the moment ~ writing cards and wrapping presents for Mothers Day tomorrow!!
I am also apparently being treated to breakfast in bed.........hopefully the fire brigade will be on full alert ..........I could just do with a hunky fireman with my mothers day (burnt) toast......tee hee ~ only joking, I am sure that after last year they will get the toast just right!!

Those are all sweet eyes, except for Shrek, LOL. Glad your young fellow had a grand time in France. You must give it a go yourself if it is just a boat ride away. And Mother's Day already? You must celebrate it earlier than here in the U.S., which isn't until May 10.
I'm so glad that the trip to France went well for Dan ~ Andrew would have loved to see the places from the War's.
You are lucky living so close to the sailing point making it easy for you to sail over to France ~ for us it would be a huge adventure just getting to the port in the first place!!
I assume you will all be having an early night tonight in the Twinkle Twinkle household?!
Oh, and i love your photo challenge pictures too!
Love,
Amanda x
I am so envious of Daniel getting to take a trip to France. That sure would be one of the really big benifits of living in Europe. Here in the States you can go to all of the different states, if you're so inclined but you lucky Europeans, you can go to different COUNTRYS! Now that would be cool.
So did Dan meet any saucy little French girls?
I'm so glad Daniel had a nice trip!
The pictures are great!!
Mother's Day? hmmmm, it's in May here. But, Tabitha, Happy Mother's Day to you! You're such a good mom! :)
ah, nice eyes!
Also love the ones in your header! Very appropriate!
lucky you being able to duck over to France for the day, eh?
Such sweet eyes for your challenge photos!
What a wonderful adventure your young man had! I'll bet he'll have loads of stories to tell about his trip.
Happy Mother's Day!
Great pictures Sweetie!! Glad Dan Loved it!!! Such a big boy!
Happy Mother's Day to you little love!! Enjoy your day!!hughugs
Happy Mothers Day, or as my Logan spells it Happy Muthers Day!!!
Have a great day!
Love,

Awww so sweet that you're getting breakfast in bed Tabitha! I love that they're wrapping your presents. HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!
You might get that hunky fireman yet!!
So glad Dan had a great time in France and that all went well! Isn't it funny how you live so close and haven't gone on a day trip? We're the same with New York City. We don't live far from there and we've never once taken the kids. My hubby grew up right outside of NYC and has been there many times even working there a time or two. So he's so over it. I grew up in the country and I'm all about going there. I love it!
Enjoy your Mother's Day. I hope you get some good cuddles...and gifts too. :-)
Much love from NJ,
Sue

Great pictures! It must be a good feeling to see your sons eyes again, after he was gone on the trip.
Happy Mothers Day to you!
Happy Mother's Day (Mother's day is not until the second Sunday of May over here)!
Great to hear Dan had such a great time in France! You might be getting croissants for breakfast!
The ferry seems a great idea. We took the ferry to Dover once, the kids loved it.
