I think that I may have a stalker (ha ha !!)..... don't panic........he is ginger and very very sweet.....and his name is brandy!!!!
No matter where I decide or should that be TRY to sit and use my laptop ~ he is right there ~ guarding it and trying to get in on the act ~ he is sat next to me now purring very loudly ~ and putting his paws on the laptop each time I try to type (not at all annoying ~ no!!!!)......
Here is the little laptop stalker ~ guarding my laptop about 10 minutes ago!!
"What are you doing? That looks interesting ~ I will just sit here and watch for a while!!!
"Can you still see what you are doing? If I just put my big furry head right here??"
"What about if I just bend down a bit.......like this!!!"
"What happens if I put my paw just here.......?"
Yes, what can I say? I think that he loves me, or maybe it is my laptop that he really loves!!!!
Well, the first day of our trip has been a bit of a wash out. I got up early this morning to go and do some shopping with my Mum ~ looked out of the window and guess what...... it was flipping raining ~ absolutely bucketing it down!!! I think that the bad weather must be following us!
Mum and me went and did some shopping ~ the plan was to leave the children with my step dad ~ Terry ~ BUT little miss sunshine decided to leave her trainers at home and had come away for 10 days on holiday ~ with one pair of flimsy pink sparkly princess shoes ~ not alot of use in the pouring rain !!! SO ~ she had to come to Asda to get some decent shoes (my daughter is a shoe ~ a ~ holic and I bet she left the other shoes behind on purpose ha ha !!!!) There were no trainers in her size, so she had to make do with a pair of black ankle boots ~ which she was more than pleased with !!
With the boring shopping over ~ we decided to head to see my sister and her family, who live about an hour away!!
When we got there the rain did stop for a while ~ so we went out for a walk ~ it was a bit too cold and windy to go on the beach ~ but we had fun anyway. My sister has two boys, Sam is nearly 15 and Tom is 11 ~ Tom and Dan were born in the same year ~ Thomas in the July and Daniel just after Christmas!! ~ so they are very close in age and get on really well.
Here are the pair of them playing on the PS3!!! and having alot of fun!!
My sister has a sweet little dog called Lucy. She is a bulldog and she is just the most placid little dog ~ and maybe (just maybe !!)a little bit silly too!!! Here is little Lucy in her bed ~ guarding her bone, just incase any of us decides we would like a chew on it !!!
All in all we had a great day and we will be heading over there to see Melissa and the family again during the next week that we are here!!
When we got back home the children wanted to watch the Spiderwick Chronicles on DVD, so we all sat and watched that ~ before they were packed off to bed!! Not sure what we will be doing tomorrow ~ alot will depend on the weather!!
My little ginger stalker is now trying to park his big ginger bum on the laptop ~ so I am going to sign off and publish this QUICK ~ before he settles in on it for the night!! XXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Brandy sure is in love with your laptop. I wonder what is sparking her fascination with it. I love all the photos you took of her in different positions on, or around, your laptop. Maybe she needs her very own toy laptop.
The photo challenge looks like a heap of fun. I love your take on the theme of play. Your fun photos capture the essence of play.
Two hours stuck in traffic sounds like no fun at all. I can only imagine your frustration at being stuck in traffic while Lauren was busting to go to the loo.
It was wonderful to read about your mum's reaction when she saw you. She must be so very proud of all that you have ahcieved. I must say, when I saw the pictures of your new haircut I was blown away by how much thinner your face looked. You look fantastic. Lauren did a super job of taking these pictures of your new "do" which really suits you.
I hope the rain stays away for the rest of your holiday so that you can get to the beach and out and about. Enjoy your time with you mum, sister and her family.

Oh no I hope the sun comes out for the rest of your holiday! How is that Brandy, he is just too cute! I have a little girl who loves shoes too! but when I think about it, it's probably my fault LOL! Thomas & Daniel are so very handsome, they both have gorgeous smiles! I'm so glad you have been able to catch up with Melissa must be so nice for the two of you!! Well I hope tomorrow is a better day in regard to the weather, have a fabulous day!

i'm so happy that you got to spend some time with melissa (and the boys look like they get along very well:). and, lucy is so cute!!! my mother used to breed english bulldogs (they are like big ol' teddy bears). she actually has one now, zola who is 2 years old. how old is lucy???
i hope the weather gets better for you all!!! regardless, just enjoy yourselves and rest...

I have just been catching up on a few on your entries. The two pictures showing your weight loss are just amazing. Congratulations on a job well done, you look absolutly fantastic. It is so much more inspiring to shed weight just before you are about to catch up with someone you have not seen for a while and your Mum seems to have really noticed. Hope the weather fines up for your holiday. Danial seems to enjoy his cousin's company and your little Lauren scored well with the new boots. Do you think the warmth from the laptop is what Brandy the cat enjoys?
When you mentioned that a car had lost some of it's contents on the highway, it made me think weather the same thing had happened previously to another vehicle and that is how the nickers ended up on the side of the road. I prefer to think that is the answer to the mystery.

Some time with your favorite "toy" and some Brandy next to you... seems like a good time!
My sister's cat used to do that to (before she - my sister that is - dropped her laptop). The cat even went as far as laying down on the keyboard so my sister would pay attention to her!
I love Lucy's idea about the knickers on the side of the road. Not really what I was thinking, but more 'appropriate' than the image I had in my mind. LOL

HAHA, I understand that with the bone! Its the same with our dog. When she has her bone and i come near to her mouth with my hand, she thinks that i want to take it away and chew it myself.
But as she knows better by now after 4 years together, and so she often brings me her bone or ear and wants me to play with her and pretend that i take it away and she barks at me and pretends that she will eat me next...
OK so much for the dog... ;)
I swear that dog is smiling at me!!
And i love ginger cats. He is a big ball of fluff, i bet he thinks he is a dog following you about everywhere!
