I have a confession to make!! I have neglected the carrots!! YES ~ I am a bad person ~ but in all the bustle of the last week ~ I completely forgot to thin them out (as was suggested to me by several people!!). The rain hasn't helped either ~ and has obviously helped them to grow into monsters!!!
This is what they look like this morning!!
It is still raining and I don't fancy getting wet ~ so as soon as there is a break in the weather ~ I will be out there ~ thinning them out ~ not that I am actually sure how to 'thin them out' ~ My intention was to just remove a few and hope for the best!!

WOW, the carrots have gone crazy LOL! you'll have to think of some recipes to use up all those carrots, carrot cake sounds good & it's fairly healthy :)

Whew, that's a lot of carrotts!! I would have forgotten, also. I wouldn't even have rain or a busy schedule to blame on it, it would just be plain forgetfulness :P

If you don't thin them out, they will get as big around as soda straws, LOL!
I hate to tell you this, but about Half of them need to be pulled...Hahahaha...Transplant the ones you pull out, into a flowerbed somewhere...they grow Anywhere!!hughugs
Cool! Carrots! I wish we had a garden and could grow carrots. We live in the desert and can only grow cactus.
