Dan needed a couple of pairs of these.......

The children are not back at school for another few weeks yet, but I just wanted all their uniforms sorted out and done ~ last year I left it until the last minute and struggled to get it all!!
We had a bit of a uniform bonanza as all the shops (and supermarkets) seem to be trying to outdo each other by having the cheapest uniforms (no, I am not complaining!!), so I managed to get them twice the amount they needed ~ for no extra money!! I like to get them new uniform for the start of a new term ~ it is just something that I have always done. They have school fleeces and sweatshirts with the school logo on, which I had already bought from the school ~ so all that I need to get now is their shoes and they are done (shoes always work out expensive ~ so I have saved that joy for after payday!!!)
I had an enquiry today from a couple who would like me to childmind for their baby ~ so that is great ~ I have had a free space for a couple of months, so it is always good to fill them up again!!
Mind you ~ the way my children keep growing and needing new clothes (ha ha !!) ~ I think I already know where the extra money will be going!!!!!!

Thanks Donna! I think that it is a great idea that the children wear uniforms over here ~ it is quite smart and all the children look the same, so there is no teasing about childrens clothing etc!!

I think you are smart getting an early start. I did pretty good this year by getting clothes and shoes and supplies bought a couple weeks ago - my kids go back to school on Monday.

I love a good bargain!!
I don't even want to think about school clothes. Thankfully Emily is only in preschool and can wear shorts and capris the first few weeks while it is still warm. Then I think I'll go hit the outlets and see what kind of deals we can find.
Here in the states there aren't many schools that have the children wear uniforms. But I have often thought this would be a good idea for more schools to do this.

I hate having to spend so much on the uniforms! Especially shoes! It wouldn't be that bad if they actually got the whole year out of them :)
