I need some more time off......I have sooooo much that I need to do ~ so many things that I have planned and not enough hours in each day!!
I am exhausted already ~ it is only monday ha ha !!
I think that the world is totally the wrong way round ~ we should only have to work two days and then have five days off (tee hee) ~ OK ~ so the world would probably come to a grinding halt and the economy would be worse (if that is possible!!) ~ than it already is ~ BUT .......I can dream!!
SO ~ how was your Monday?
Mine started at 6am this morning with the sound of the rain and wind lashing outside ~ yes you guessed it is raining again (well it is Britain after all). I had a shower, washed and did my hair ~ got the children dressed, fed etc (all the usual things) ~ then we had to venture out ~ into the weather. We were soaked just going from the house to the car ~ literally soaked through ~ we looked a sorry state! Lauren has decided that she wants to wear her wellies to school tomorrow and change into her shoes ~ as she got soaked and her trousers were wet almost to her knees ~ poor love!
I have been quite busy today ~ when I had finished work I went online to complete two 90 minute courses connected to childcare ~ and even got a certificate for each course at the end. It is great that there are these courses available on line ~ as being a single parent ~ it is hard when I have to do courses at the weekend or in the evenings (babysitters cost the earth ha ha !!).
My next courses that I have booked on line are health and safety and food handling and hygiene ~ then I need to update my paediatric first aid ~ which runs out in January. This course runs over two weekends and for obvious reasons cannot be completed on line!! When that is completed ~ I should be all up to date for at least another year ~ hurray!!!!!!
I was very naughty today and treated myself to a few of the candles that Amanda mentioned on her blog a while ago. They are called Woodwick candles and they have natural wicks made from organic wood to create the soothing sound of a crackling fire!!
My local candle shop ~ where I usually go to buy my yankee candles has been trying to get permission to stock them for ages ~ and when I walked past today I saw them advertised in the window ~ so I raced in and bought 2 straight away (very naughty!). With the festive season approaching ~ I decided to opt for 2 that sounded and smelt christmassy!! They are called Mulled Berries and Noel and smell wonderful! You can go HERE to find out what they look like etc (this is not where I got mine from ~ but is a site I have used to buy candles from before and is quite good!!) I am sitting here at the moment ~ listening to them crackle away ~ as the rain is beating on the window outside!!
Well ~ time for an early night I think ~ ready for another day of madness (and apparently more rain) tomorrow!!

It is so wonderful to be able to take courses on-line! My girls took on for high school over the summer and will have to take 2 this coming summer. It sure makes things easier. Congrats on getting yours done.
Take care - Kellan
Oh, Tabitha, you are such a smart young woman; taking care of your children, other children - taking classes online, whew! I'm glad you treated yourself to the candles; girl you're worth it as they say!
See you later, and hope it's not raining tomorrow!
He Tabitha,
Those candles at that site? Are they a decent price? I am asking cause I think that those beautiful wood crackling ones would be nice for me to send my sister and bil in Germany.
I did have some HSM pens for Casey (she is 24 and still as nutty over it as your Lauren is! lol) But I didnt have anything for Dan yet.
The postage from Australia is the killer and I was thinking of getting something online that was already in Europe or the UK - and those candles sound like a great idea!!
Could you please email me (when you get the chance, I know your super-busy!) on juzzie@mail2dancer.com and tell me what you think please?
I hope that the weather eases for you!!!

I'm right there with you...I need another weekend! Monday was long...felt like a week in and of itself. We'll make it though...we can cheer each other on!
I'm glad you got the candles. Do you like them? I think they smell just as good as Yankee Candles. And they really do crackle!
I'm waiting to do the peadiatric life support course at my work. Scary ~ i hope we never have to use these skills that we learn on real children.
And don't worry, it's raing with gale force wind here if that makes you feel any better!

I see that your determination is not only restricted to your diet, but also applies to studying.
I'll keep an eye out for those candles. I'd love to hear them crackle away in the background...
Love and hugs,
Tania
