We now all have the cough, cold, sore throat that Lauren came down with the other night ~ speaking for myself here ~ I feel awful ~ and I can understand why Lauren just wanted to go to bed last night ~ I feel just the same!!
We are all 3 dosed up with cough medicine and sore throat pastels and hopefully we will all feel better for the party on Saturday. lauren has got a croaky voice ~ so things have been quite quiet here!!
This is what always happens ~ we are all healthy most of the year and then when there is something planned ~ a birthday or family party, we all come down with the lurgy ha ha !!
Anyway ~ I am off to have a bath ~ put on my most comfy PJ's and snuggle under the quilt to watch TV for a bit ~ and then I think that an early night is in order !! XXX

(PS ~ Don't know what it is like where you are ~ but it is flipping freezing here BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
and apparently there is an Artic cold snap coming in at the weekend (whatever that means!!) ~ so get those thermal undies ready ~ if you live in the UK you may just need them!) xx

Why does the lurgy always have a way of rearing its ugly head at the most inconvenient time?? I hope that you are all well enough so that you can enjoy Lauren's party on Saturday. I wish that I lived near you so that I could come and help you. Then you could get the rest that you need to properly recover.
While you're freezing we are feeling the heat over here. It is sooo hot and muggy. This kind of oppressive heat brings with it storms. We are well and truly in storm season here, but these storms I've been talking about on my blog are the worst on record in 25 years, we don't usually see anything like what we've been experiencing lately.
I hope that you, Dan and Lauren can get to stay inside, keep warm and feel a whole lot better very soon.

It's pretty darn cold here as well (Connecticut, USA)! I heard we might even get a snow storm this Saturday. Whoa! IT would be the first snow of the season.

What terrible timing indeed for all of you to get sick. But the thought of the party will keep you going. You'll just have to take it easy for the rest of the weekend!
We woke up to some snow this morning, but most of it melted right away. Maybe some is heading your way?

i didn't see this post for some reason, tabitha??? i hope you all are feeling better:) i have had it too since last sunday night. i think it is a sinus infection and sore throat from the drainage???
