Today has been wonderful ~ and I mean that most sincerely!
It is one of those days that have not been in abundance recently ~ a day where everything has been just so perfect.
The weather has taken a turn for the better ~ bright sunshine and boy how nice it was to feel the sun on my face ~ after all the snow and rain.
We went to the beach and walked for miles ~ just taking in the wonderful views ~ the sea air and the peace of it all.
As we walked along ~ Lauren stopped and collected shells and stones and other pretty things she found on the beach along the way. Daniel walked close to the waters edge ~ skimming stones ~ I stood watching the two little people I love most in the world ~ carefree, happy and just enjoying the moment ~ neither of them with a care in the world ~ just as it should be.
It is days like these ~ filled with perfect picture postcard moments that I will always carry with me, days filled with happiness ~ memories like these ........I keep them in my heart ~ Forever xxx

Some of the most perfect days don't cost anything but are etched in our memeories forever. You deserve to have these perfect moments and to be able to recount them when your Daniel and Lauren when they are all grown up. after reading your and elise's posts, i find myself wishing we lived a little closer to a beach... we do live near the river; but it's just not quite the same.

Gosh I guess I missed this one too. Boy you've been busy posting. :-)
So happy you had a perfect day!!! We had one of those last year on vacation but my camera broke while we were there so we don't have any photos to remember. We were walking on the beach collecting shells too! Everyone was getting along and it was just so peaceful and fun. Like you said, I'll keep them in my heart. A picture would've been nice though. :-)
