At last the much awaited day has arrived, yes, it is the 15th and the day of Laurens ballet and tap exams. She is taking her first ISTD tap exam and her first RAD ballet exam. We had to be up at the crack of dawn to do her hair and make sure her uniform was just so.
Laurens hair takes ages and you have to use at least a whole gel spray and 3000 grips to keep it in place and then put a pretty scrunchy over the top....just to hide all the mess underneath (ha ha)..
She thinks that she has done well and I was outside when they were doing the tap exam and it sounded like they were all in step (in my very unprofessional opinion!), we have to wait a few weeks for all the exams to be marked and then she gets a certificate and a medal or trophy, depending on which exam.
Not wanting to miss a photo opportunity, Daniel went to his friend, Jacks, party at Soccer City and wore his Pompey (Portsmouth) football strip, so I had to take some boy shots of him....just to balance out all the girliness!!!
