Sun, Sand and Sea!!

We went to my sisters today ~ she lives right next to the beach (literally!! You can see the sea from her front window!!)
The weather was gorgeous and we spent the whole afternoon on the beach ~ it was just wonderful!! All the sun, sand and sea air has tired us out and I think it will be yet another early night tonight ha ha !!!

Unfortunately my sister had to work ~ so she did not make it to the beach (we saw her later!!) ~ so my Brother in law and I took the kids out for the afternoon!!

The 'BOYS' decided that the sea was too cold and wanted a game of football on the beach instead!!
Even Lucy joined in with the fun ~ she found a stone and carried it about with her!!
Little Miss Huffy Pants ~ wanted to take her t shirt off ~ to be like the boys!!
Digging a hole!! What the purpose of this hole was.......I have absolutely no idea!!!!

We have had such a beauty full day!

We are all off for a bath now ~ to wash away all that itchy scrathy sand!!

My feet hurt ~ but boy did we have fun!!

Well ~ what a day we have had. There was a break in the wet weather, so we decided to make the most of it and head out to have some fun!! I will warn you now ~ there are lots of photos on this post (ha ha !!) ~ I am also still useless at uploading them in the right order ~ so I will apologise now that they are a bit muddled up!!

We have had such a fun day ~ packed full of laughter and great memories!! It was so nice to see my little stars laughing and just having a good time ~

We started off this afternoon on the pier ~ which is very long and my feet were already hurting from the walk there ~ that will teach me to forget my trainers!!!!

Here is lauren on the jumping jacks trampolines ~ she just bounced and bounced ~ I wish I had her energy!!

Daniel on the go kart track ~ he had several goes and it was a fight to get him off the things !!

Once we had finished on the pier ~ we headed off to the open top bus tours ~ and started our tour by looking at Conwy castle!!

As you can see from the smile on her face ~ little miss Lauren just loved the wind in her hair on the open top bus!!

Lauren spotted this sea gull and took a photo ~ it was huge!!

Lauren took this one too ~ of the beach!!! We also had a portrait done while we were on the pier ~ it is one of the old western photos that they do ~ where you get all dressed up and they take it in sepia effect ~ we all looked like we were in the Old wild west (ha ha ). I will scan it into the computer when we get home ~ so you can all see!!!

I am in need of a long soak in the bath ~ and an early night I think ~ as all the walking and sea air has tired me out (I know ~ it is old age creeping up on me ha ha !!!).

The children don't seem to be bothered ~ while me and my Mum are sat here with our feet up ~ they are both out in the garden playing football!!! I don't know where they get the energy from!!

Tomorrow we have another busy day ~ we are going to see my sister and her family ~ hopefully if the weather improves a bit, the children will get to go on the beach. XXX
