Our Lapland dreams are broken.....

You may remember that some months back I did a post about taking the children to a Christmas attraction called Lapland New Forest ~ WELL, we are no longer going ~ if you would like to know why ~ click HERE





The attraction that my friends visited a few years back was in Kent ~ and was unconnected to this place ~ it was also the real deal. The people who did the site we were visiting were obviously a bunch of con men out to make a quick buck from unsuspecting families at this time of year ~ shame on them ~ how they can take the magic and wonderment of Christmas for a child and do this is beyond me.





The children are understandably upset ~ but I have explained it to them and they are aware that the site has now shut ~ not that we would have been visiting next Saturday ~ after the news and reports that I have seen on the internet.





I am currently trying to get my money back ~ not that I hold out much hope and my Mum has booked a pantomime for the children on Christmas Eve ~ so that will be something for them to look forward to. XXX

Dear Santa..........

Since I have been a VERY good girl this year.........(OK ~ So I admit that there has been the odd hiccup here and there!!!) ~ But ~ I have still been good MOST of the time.......

Well, if you could maybe leave one of these under the tree for me ~ I would be really grateful ~ just the one ~ that would be very nice!!

Tabitha Bear ~ A Story in Pictures!!

Lauren received a 'Make your own bear' set from my Mum for her birhday ~ and she decided that as it was cold, wet and dreary outside that she would make the bear!!

Here are the bear essentials (ha ha ) ~ all ready to go......

Lauren has an adoption certificate for her bear ~ and she decided to call it.......Tabitha (ahhh!!)
Lauren did a great job stuffing her bear ~ here she is!!

No bear would be complete without a cute pink outfit ~ complete with bows and sweet pink ballet shoes!!! Our new family member ~ Tabitha Bear ~ has been adopted!! Isn't she cute!

(So far she is very well behaved and quiet ~ she can definitly stay tee hee!!)

BRENDAS PHOTO CHALLENGE

Yes, it is that time again ~ another photo challenge. The theme this time around is 'Holiday Decorations' and the hostess is Kim over at Caffeine is life!

I decided that since I have already posted pictures on my blog of our Christmas decorations ~ that I would use my friend, Junes house to take my photos ~ she has so many decorations and christmas bits and pieces ~ so it wasn't hard to find lots to photograph!!

I love this skating village scene ~ when you switch it on ~ it lights up and the figures skate around on the ice rink!


The Christmas carousel ~ this plays christmas music and the horses go up and down and move round.
A gorgeous light up christmas village...
Not forgetting the christmas candles and burners....

So, there you have it ~ my Christmas photo challenge pictures ~ I had great fun this time and took so many pictures that it was hard to decided which ones to use!!!

From Australia ~ with love.

A special parcel arrived today ~ all the way from Australia ~ with love!!



Inside was a wonderful Christmas card and present from my beauty full friend Elise and her dear sweet family.



The card brought a huge big smile to my face ~ I love it!





I am going to keep the parcel and take it to my mums with me ~ to open on Christmas morning ~ so that will be very special!
